"Keep in mind that Gecko renders a page according to *the* stanards while MS attemps to *make* standards. While your page may look good in IE this would be like putting on a spectacular show and at the end getting fired because you either did it at the wrong place or you did the wrong performence. IE will keep you from understanding this."
» Juventuz.com [2000-2005]
I launched Juventuz in 2000 as a flash website but it soon turned out to be an elaborate project. It became an excercise in web design, web publishing, site promotion, web programming, server administration, community building and to some extent even public relations.

Juventuz was a site of some 100 pages, coded in plain html/css, with heavy support from Dreamweaver to keep track of all the files and templates. The deployment language was php, mainly to facilitate file includes.

The corner stone of the site was the Juventuz Forums, a community of some 3500 members and 600,000 posts. A tremendous effort went into developing the community and maintaining it.

As of July 2005, I have terminated my involvement in the project and the website has been sold to a new owner.

Since then it has been redesigned, but for samples of the old content, visit the Internet Archive:

» Sure-Build [2004]
The Sure-Build website was built on assignment from the Sure-Build research group. The idea was to have a simple website to explain and illustrate what the project is all about and provide enough pointers and resources to get involved should one wish to do so.

The site was coded in xhtml and css, using Dreamweaver for template handling. It is hosted by the Faculty of Architecture and Fine Art at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
